Use the modular safety relay PNOZpower to monitor E-STOP, safety gates and light beam devices. With PNOZpower you can switch currents of up to 16 A AC/DC per contact. An overall breaking capacity of 40 A is available per module.

In each case, external contactors and contactor combinations are no longer required. The base unit processes the inputs; the output modules are specifically matched to the respective load. The number and capacity of the required safety contacts can be scaled, depending on the application. You can connect a maximum of five modules to the base unit. Modules are wired to the base unit via an internal bus system.

Due to technical progress and the emergence of a more economical solution, the decentralised, digital input/output modules PSSdio has been removed from Pilz product range. The decentralised I/O system PSSuniversal is available as a replacement.

With PSSuniversal, Pilz provides an I/O system which is much more flexible than the compact PSSdio modules. It can be used in existing architectures thanks to a large number of fieldbus interfaces. The wide range of I/O modules also enables the system to be individually tailored to the respective application.

PILZ Decentralised field devices

  • PDP67 - Modules. Modules in accordance with the protection type IP67 (water and dust resistant) can be used decentrally in the field (outside the control cabinet). Decentralised input modules are available for SafetyBUS p and for connection to PNOZmulti, as well as passive junctions.
  • PDP20 - Modules. Modules in the PDP20 product range are used decentrally in the field (in small installation boxes). Interface modules are available which enable contact-based sensors to be connected in series.
